At Slovenia’s Academy of Sciences and Arts, Julie Reshe is doing postdoctoral research.
Her interdisciplinary approach centers on cultural posthumanism and draws from art, neuroscience, psychoanalysis, and philosophy.
In challenging conventional wisdom, she raises issues of the non-human, the trans-subjective, and the adjustable.
Gender, sexuality, childhood studies, education, and the history of language and culture are some of her areas of interest.
Both popular publications and scholarly journals frequently print Julie’s work.
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv awarded her a Master of Arts degree in philosophy. The National University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy was another institution Julie attended to study cultural philosophy.
While supervised by Alenka Zupančič at the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, she earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy and Psychoanalysis in Slovenia.
