Creating Future Hope–Applied Humanities Program

Creating Future Hope–Applied Humanities Program

Four years ago a few intellectuals gathered and brainstormed about how education should help create better futures for the younger generation. What came from that conversation was the birth of The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS). Nearly four years later, this non-profit has provided thousands of hours of free education to the public from some of the world’s top thinkers and visionaries, from Oliver Stone, Slavoj Zizek, and Alain Badiou, to Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Tariq Ali, Jack Halberstam, Luce Irigaray, Richard Wolff, Azfar Hussain, Julie Reshe, John Luc Nancy, Lewis Gordon, Chris Hedges, Sigrid Hackenberg and scores of others. GCAS is not accredited, but through our partnership with Alma Mater Europaea (based in Salzburg, Austria and Maribor, Slovenia) we help create and provide the world’s most advanced Humanities MA and PhD degree program, debt-free!
